Thank you jacob with getting back with me. I am glad to hear you want to be sure about the facts before you get the R/C. your comment is "that is cool but what is the mantince it takes i want a loww one. i dont really want speed but i want durablity and low mantince? and out of couriosty in what case is gas better than eletric."
well jacob, I'll try to find a low maintnence vehicle with some speed too (without speed, it just isn't fun!). I would personally start with traxxas, or redcat racing. These companies are great at producing great trucks/cars. If you want a low mantinence truck I would suggest Traxxas, they are fast, strong, cool, and DURIBLE!\
I would suggest that you get the traxxas 1/16 models, they are small enough, not TOO big ya know! they are also light, fast and durible, just don't be an idiot, and start smashing it up as soon as you get it!
and really I coulnt tell you when gas would be better other than on road racing (fast racing like up to 70+ mph).
